Product Description It's not just about time. This handsome analog clock has a sophistication and elegance that makes an impression both indoors and out. In addition to the self-setting atomic time - accurate to the second - there are two smaller dials that measure humidity and temperature. One-year warranty. Model WT-3181P.
Amazon.com Review Whether mounted indoors or outdoors, this 18-inch round analog wall clock reports the time, temperature, and humidity at a glance. This clock's claim to fame is its precision time-keeping and the fact that it never needs to be set. A built-in antenna system receives signals from the WWVB radio transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is in turn regulated by the atomic clock. Once you install the battery and choose one of four U.S. time zones, the clock automatically sets to the accurate time in hours, minutes, and secods, and continues to adjust itself six times daily. This low-maintenance clock even automatically adjusts for daylight savings time, so you never need to remember to spring ahead or fall back. As an additional perk, the clock features in the lower left area of the face a hygrometer that measures the percentage of relative humidity in the air. The lower right has an analog thermometer that reports the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. This radio-controlled clock is covered by a 1-year warranty and runs on one AA battery (not included). --Cristina Vaamonde

Very good patio clock August 26, 2010 S. Bachilo I have this one for at least five years. It is installed in a patio-like condition on a brick wall, under a roof/larger eve and far from day sunlight, and it is in Houston. No problem with air humidity and even frequent rain sprays (but you should not expect it to be submersible). The clock worked with air temperature from from 26F to >100F, and its time was always precise. The hydrometer insert is likely far from correct, and can only indicate the humidity trend, but its thermometer is also very useful. No big maintenance for all years, I replaced its battery just couple times and set the time zone, and once moved it into the house for the hurricane night (we do not need flying clocks). I will probably get now one more of the same type/color, but for a much more stressful location, when it will fill the full afternoon sun and above a pool with corresponding 100% humidity and evening fog. I expect good work there too (at least for a while), but do not believe the dial numbers will be nice after 5 years as it is in the shade. The price is slightly higher now than it was five years ago, but still acceptable.
Very satisfied July 29, 2010 D. Mello I put this on my back patio 2 years ago and it is still going strong on the same battery. It looks and works great.
Great Clock July 13, 2010 sduel (Northborough, MA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We just bought the second one. Got the first one 3 years ago from Frontgate for $30 more. It still works flawlessly. Has been outside the entire time throughout the New England winters. Keeps accurate time. Haven't even had to replace the battery yet. No rust or discoloration.
Like this clock July 12, 2010 Tricia M This clock is even better looking than the picture. It is mounted next to an oil-rubbed bronze light fixture and blends well with it, the clock is not as silver looking as I thought it might be, which is good.
It was easy to set up, just put in batteries and it did the rest of the work. I have it outside on my patio, which is covered, and so far so good.
I recommend.
La Crosse Technology WT-3181P 18" Outdoor Atomic Wall Clock with Temperature/Humidity April 14, 2010 twsigpolo (CA) This is a great clock for high visibility and accuracy. We use it at our school in two outdoor and three indoor situations and the clocks have weathered well with no damage although the "Outdoor" designation is technically a misnomer, the clock is not designed for all weather outdoor applications.
