I've been looking for a bookcase for my daughter's room for a while. This one has good reviews and amazon had the lowest price. I received it today which was a few days earlier than expected. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, there were scratches on some of the pieces of wood. I didn't want to wait for another bookcase so amazon gave me a partial refund. It was easy to put together but not to mount to the wall. I had to use a mounting kit from babies r us instead. All said and done it's nice and priced good but I would've liked it to be wider and a little more sturdy.

This is a great bookcase, not too difficult to put together compared to other products, but it did take 2 of us to get it done in an hour or so. It was hard to find, been out of stock for a while but this bookcase was cute and sturdy and cheaper than some of the Target options. It was delivered on-time, early even and is already full. If you have a ton of books you may want to go with a bigger option but because of the size of the baby room, this worked for us.

When I first opened the bookcase I thought it was going to be too small, but after I filled it with my kids' books I realized it was perfect. The extra molding on the front makes it pretty and it feels very sturdy. It even comes with the hardware to attach it to the wall. It was very easy to assemble. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and I am ordering a second right now.

I found what I was looking for in this bookshelf; sturdy, roomy, and inexpensive. I needed something for our 4 year old's books, which can be larger than other books. I also wanted something that could serve as a storage shelf and nightstand as she got older. This will serve those needs nicely. It is very pretty and she enjoyed using temporary wall stickers to decorate it.
I gave it 4 stars for a few reasons: 1)This shelf originally sells for $80-$90. It is not worth that, but I feel I got my money's worth for the $50 I paid for it. 2)I have "held the flashlight" enough for my husband during projects that I was able to decipher the instructions and know how to install the hardware.The instructions are very basic and a mechanically challenged person may find them confusing. It took me about 1/2 hour (after little hands got tired of helping).There were a couple of screws I could have used help with, but it can be done by feel.
Overall, I am very pleased with it!
