This modern pendant is truly modern with its sleek and clean lines. The shade is in the bright white family which to creates a crisp, modern feel while the bottom diffuser shields the bulbs from view to create a pleasant illumination. Includes three 12-inch and one 6-inch downrod that allows you to hang this pendant anywhere from 17-3/4-inches to a 47-3/4-inches. Takes three 100-watt medium base bulbs (not included). The drum shade measures 18-inches on the top and bottom by 7-inches in height. Please note that this pendant is shown with the light on. If you are looking for a modern/contemporary look this light is it! It really looks better than this picture as the white bands at the top and bottom are not as pronounced as shown in the picture. As you I have been searching for this style but the cost in most cases is $350 +.
I rated this a 4star as the only thing I don't like is that the diffuser is not tight to the shade ...but for the price and the look I am going to live with it!
